Williamson, Inc., the chamber of commerce and office of economic development for Williamson County, has been named a winner of an industry award that recognizes communications and marketing work. Presented annually by Alexandria, Va.-based Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), the Communications Excellence awards program is designed to recognize exceptional work in the areas of advertising and marketing campaigns and publications.

Williamson, Inc. received a Grand Award for Williamson County Mobility Week, its solutions-oriented transportation initiative. Held in September of 2016, Mobility Week explored practical ways to reduce traffic congestion on Middle Tennessee’s roadways.
